Plan Team Game

Is your team game a good learning game? Why? What would you add to the Hobo's Journey game to improve it? What would you add to the Larry game to improve it?
Yes our game is a good learning game because we are actually going to give facts about poverty. I would change the Hobo Journey by making the game more interesting and also add like a little game because just asking questions is boring.I would add instructions to the game because the keyboard control and also in the drag and drop well explain it more clearly.

Imagine Team Game

  • WHO are you designing your game for? (Include the player's age, abilities, and prior knowledge of your topic.) How will you make sure your game is not hurtful to any group of people?Well this is meant for like 5th graders through 8th graders,i will make sure that this not going to offend the homeless.
  • WHAT will your game teach the player about your topic? (Be specific.)If you are making a social issue game, how will you show multiple perspectives? The game is going to teach you how a house could make a big impact in someones life.
  • WHERE does your game happen?Describe the world you will design for your game. How will this setting add to the learning experience?Well the setting of the game is going to be in a building site.Well the designing of the world is just going tot be like an everyday look, well your going to be building a house and if you build a house its supposed to go with the weather and stuff.
  • HOW does your game world teach the player about your topic? What happens in the world that helps the player learn? How does the player use what they learned to make something happen in the game?Well your just building a house were you want it or where there is a space available, helps to give donors to the organization.

i would like to have this as my game topic because i have a really good idea to make this a game, and plus i think its a really good non-profit organisation. Like was thinking to make the game like a drag or drop  game like i will draw the tools and like you have to chose the one we need to build the house then later on,on the game build the outline of the house and all of the stuff that you did you build the house and yeah thats what i was thinking  how to do my game if if you gave me this topic.
