What have you learned about building a game that surprises you? How does it change the way you look at games you like to play?

Well i already had made a mini game but it dosent really surprise me.It dosent really change the way i look at games that i like to play i really dont play game anyways so yeah.

Presenting Hidden Object game

• The Big Idea: Describe your learning topic for the game. What is the most important thing you want your players to learn?

My learning topic is science and it is about dinosaurs,i want the players to know there carnivorousness dinosaurs.

• Research: What kind of research did you do? What did you learn about your topic?

I did some dinosaur research,i learned about different kinds of dinosaurs and what time period they lived on.

• Making Decisions: How did your ideas change as you worked on your game?

It changed a lot i had this one idea and it completely changed trough out the research then when i was working on it, it changed again.

• Mastering Programming: What Game Ingredients and Help Center resources have been most useful to you so far, and why?

Of course the codes helped me a lot i used mostly all the game ingredients(add game ingredients). It helped me because it gave me the codes to the game ingredients i wanted to use.

• Overcoming Challenges: Which part of making the game was most difficult for you? How did you overcome this difficulty? What features are you most proud of in your game?

The most difficult thing when i was working on my game has to be the programming i had to look over the code look at the instance name and ask for some help.The features that I'm most proud of is my dinosaurs i free hand drew that i think they are beautiful.Part 2

How does the designer reward you and keep you playing? To look for stuff that you haven't clicked on

How does it use hidden objects to teach you?Making the things to disappear and make it seam like if the classroom did have noting bad
What age group would find this educational?8-10 yrs.
What would you add to this game if you had a chance to work on it? A box that it tells you what you need to look for

Add Game Ingredients

Adding game ingredients was kinda easy,but the hard thing was like if something would of worked it was annoying. One problem that i had was the win and lose page it would work for something and i couldn't figured it out in till like one week later so yeah that was a problem.Another problem was withe the background music it was like not working out so i had to fix that and i figured out why it wouldn't stop making the noise because i had the settings on loop(i figured that on today 11/14/12).But oter wise it was really easy.

Hidden Objects

Programming the hidden objects it was really easy especially because i did this  lesson a bunch of times. I would like to add screens that say you win and lose. Also to make the objects glow when you go over the object.

Drawing a Background

Drawing a background was like really easy for me but then i had saw the tutorial and I learned new some techniques.Now my back ground looks kinda realistic(always learning).

What problems did it help you to solve with your game idea?

Well I thought of it the same way so i knew what i was going to do.

PLAN GAME SCENE

I would have like a word and you have to find all the dinosaurs that fit in that category like the insect game.I would do the same in a different level but with an other word.If you finish a level you well like get a fact about a dinosaur.I would have like a jungle or a cave with dinosaurs well hidden.

Choosing learning Topic

My topic is about dinosaurs i like this idea because I love dinosaurs I will use this idea by putting in a category like carnivorousness then you are needed to find all the carnivorousness dinosaurs.Then when you pass it you go to herbivore dinosaurs and you do the same so that what i imagine my hidden object game.I will be using rule #2 find objects that fit a specific category or criteria.

Play to Learn Part 1

I learned that it best to camouflage the objects like in ''Dirty Water'' also to like put a hint button in my game because i want to make it it challenging but not to challenging that you cant find anything. Also to give information why is that related to the game like little fun facts.I also want to conclude the object list were you have to find the things that it says to find.I also want to put like something coming in the screen if you are taking to long to find something.

This School Year

This school year has been CRAZY and fun at the same time I had made new friends and still have my old friends. I was in some drama already but it was stupid. This year i am going to pass all my classes but this year i started rough but it is going to get better.My goal is to be NICE also to make A's and B's but if possible all A's. I also want to try out for sports and stuff like clubs if there is any. But this school year has been really awesome though (SO FAR).

Well nothing because my game wasn't finish but if it was they should of said that my game was the awesomest

You use forks and knives but you use more the fork then the knives

In the poor side there is a lot of fast food restaurant right next to each other. 

Rats that ate 20% had more higher rates with diseases than the rats that had 5% and remained healthy. 

Most research says that people who had cancer in their family got it but people who didn't have it in their family got it from their diet.

Respect

 Respect_What does it mean to you?

Respect is to me ,being polite have good manners and don't interrupt people when they are talking.

What does it look like?

*In the classroom we show it by listing what other people have to say and also being polite by not interrupting other students when they are talking.

*In the computer lab we show it by not breaking the computers and  by using the resources wisely.

*In the hallways we show it by being friendly to each other.

*During breakfast/lunch we show it by using our table manners like saying excuse me when you burp don't talk with your mouth full etc.

*When we have visitors on campus we answer what they ask us like What are we doing? and also be polite. 

*When we visit other  places we like don't touch if they say to not touch something also don't touch things if they are not yours be polite to the people and resources that are in that place.

Nike

I feel very bad because my aunt use to buy me a lot of Nike's and I didn't know that they are sweatshops for that company like I would of never wear does shoes. Next time I see a person wearing Nike's I would tell them who made them and how they suffer just for making the merchandise that the make for us. Like who would treat somebody like animals we are humans they nearly get any money.They work there butts off for no money basically I just think this is unfair. Some of them that are working are children. Sometimes they even get abused if they do something wrong (kids,teens, and adults). If your wearing Nike's you just got RIPOFF like did you know like what they make out of the shoes is like 7 cents and you buy them for 100 dollars.
SO THINK BEFORE YOU BUY NIKE'S!!!!!!!!!!!!

Object In The Sky

How could you take this real-life event and turn this into a game.
What genre would you focus on?How it happened and how it look like.
What skill or topic would your game teach? Like what people thought it was and what scientist think it is. 
What would the player have to do in the game?Have to answer some questions by dragging in the answers in a computer and every time you answer one correctly an object goes through the sky.
What would the hero of your game look like? The enemy? Well the enemy will be an explosion behind the background and the hero is like a shooting star going across the sky.
What type of animations or sounds would the player see and hear? It would be and explosion noise and like a fire work sound or something.

My Game Habits

What types of games do you enjoy playing? What are the titles?

I like playing Paradise Island and Happy Aquarium on Facebook and I like playing games that you need to take car of things.
When did you begin playing games, on what type of game system?

I start playing these games when I finish doing my homework and I play them on the computer.
Do your parents/guardians limit the amount of time you are allowed to play games? Yes my parent have time limit for me in the computer.
Do you think it is possible to get completely addicted to playing video games? Why or why not?

Yes I do think so because my cousin is addicted to his game he dose not even does his homework he just goes to his room and start playing and stops playing when hes tired.
